Main Street Road Closure

We have now had official notification that Main Street, Woodborough will be reduced to one lane with traffic control from its junction with Church Walk to its junction with Lingwood Lane.

This will be from 08:00 hours on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 to 16:00 hours on Saturday 11th October 2025. Traffic control will be place Monday to Friday during the working day.

This is so essential work can be carried out by the Environment Agency on the metal drainage grill over the brook. Trees and undergrowth have already been felled and cut back.

There has been increased traffic through the village with the closure of the Lambley through route, but this is due to open at the end of June before works start.
