Woodborough Parish Council
A parish council is a local authority in England that represents the interests of the people in a civil parish. Woodborough Parish Council comprises 11 volunteer members who have been elected or co-opted to serve the interests of the village. They meet monthly and have responsibility for the village hall, the cemetery, the playing field, governors field, the tennis courts and the allotments. They also give their view on planning applications but do not make final decisions.
Residents are welcome to attend meetings and do have an opportunity to speak if they wish.
